Melanie has worked for a variety of organisations relating to fabrics and dressmaking over several years. She is now taking orders and working in her own premises.

In 2004 Melanie was married and made her own bridal gown and that of her bridesmaids. She has done several weddings since then with her most distant clients being in China.
